Westport Fire Department Statistics

During a typical year the Westport Fire Department responds to approximately 3500 calls for service within the Town of Westport and neighboring towns. These calls can range from a simple reset of an automatic alarm, activated by steam from a shower, to a working house fire with confirmed victims trapped within the structure. Other call types include hazardous materials, brush fires, motor vehicle fires, technical rescue, animal rescue, emergency medical services, suspicious packages, bomb threats, motor vehicle accidents and many more.
